Dancing and listening to music IS AWESOME!!!

The Yo Gabba Gabba Live Show was an absolute blast. The kids had so much fun. In the beginning they weren't really sure how to react. In fact, they looked kind of stunned! LOL! But eventually they warmed up and joined in on all the dancing fun!

It was a full day. Immediately following the show we went to a Candyland themed birthday party. The kids, of course, had a blast and were soooo hyped up from the candy.

The next day was much more relaxing. We decorated the tree!

Jingle all the way!

Last week Dylan received a beautiful gift from a dear friend: a pair of jingle anklets with bells and hearts from Danita Apple Jewelry. These sterling silver anklets are handmade with love. They are so cute. Check it out!

Getting back on the wagon

I cant believe it's already mid-November. Dylan turned 1 last month. It's been so fast. She said her first words at 9 months, started walking at 10 months, and is finally getting more teeth now. She has had just one tooth for months! But 3 more have started to come out. Finally! =) She has just grown up way too fast. This is the latest picture I have of her.

Nissei has been the best big brother ever! He adores his younger sister. He still struggles with sharing. But who doesn't? I'm 29 years old and I still struggle with sharing. :-D

So for Dylan's first bday bash we had a Halloween costume party. It was so much fun. It was awesome to see everybody in their costumes....even the adults.
Our family dressed as the cast of Super Mario Bros. Mike and I were Luigi and Mario, Nissei was Yoshi, and Dylan was Peach.

And his journey begins....

Nissei's first day of preschool was on Monday. He was soooooooo excited. He's been begging to go to school since he was 2 years old. We finally fit it into our budget! So far, so good! The teachers at school can hardly believe that he's never attended another school before. According the teachers there: he is very outgoing, friendly, and follows directions very well. I'm a proud mama! Today they had an easter egg hunt! They also made rabbit ears and a bunny rabbit basket out of a half-gallon milk carton. So cute and creative!

Chubbzy wubbzy!

Here is a recent picture of my chubby princess! I love her rolls!

4 years of Nissei

Sunday, March 21 was a special day. We wished a happy 4th birthday to our handsome little man, Nissei! Mommy and Daddy love you so much! The past 4 years have been the best of my life. Being a mommy is the best job a woman could ever have.

I can't believe my little boy is already 4 years old. It's so cliche to say that time just flew by, but it really did! Please cherish every moment with your little one. Next thing you know, they'll be asking you to stop kissing them so much. =( Nissei already says I kiss him too much!

For his 4th birthday he requested a party at Chuck E. Cheese. I happily obliged, because of the minimal planning required. I love a big birthday party as much as the next girl, but planning one is a whole other story. We kept it small and intimate, just his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents were in attendance. A Transformer cake (chocolate cake w/ fresh strawberries from our favorite Chinese bakery) was definitely a must, as was plenty of pizza, salad, and tokens for all guests to enjoy.

We will have a grand fete next year for his 5th birthday. I believe 5 to be a milestone. I'll have him invite all of his friends from Preschool. I can't wait! I should start planning now! LOL! But eeek, Dylan's 1st birthday is coming up in October! That has to be big. Birthday number one is always a grand affair. Any ideas for a theme?
